Birth is a sacred journey.
Welcome to how women should be cared for. It's time to shift back to a paradigm where we trust birth and the innate wisdom of women’s bodies to work.
I’m Lauren Foreman, a Certified Nurse Midwife who offers concierge home birth services in the Austin and surrounding area. My midwifery care is a blend of intuition, wisdom, science and birth magic.

What is a Certified Nurse Midwife?
A certified nurse midwife received a bachelor’s in nursing first and then completed a master’s in nursing and a post master’s in midwifery. A certified nurse midwife trained and/or worked as a nurse prior to becoming an independent provider. We typically have a larger scope of practice in obstetrics and can also care for women throughout the lifespan not just in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We have the ability to prescribe medication and can work in and out of the hospital setting. There are many different types of midwives and ways to become a midwife.
As a certified nurse midwife I also offer gynecological consultations, well women’s visits, birth control consultations, and preconception visits.
My Commitment to Mental Health
Mental Wellness Consult + Continued Mental Health Care
As a mental health nurse practitioner I can help discuss and address your mental health needs. I take a holistic approach-sometimes we do need medication, but we can also look at adjusting your diet, draw labs, try supplements and/or herbs.
Birth Processing
With my psychiatric mental health education and my midwifery experience combined with my additional training, I am comfortable helping women process their birth experience. Perhaps even processing a previous experience to prepare for a different experience in future pregnancies and birth experiences.
Birth is a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual experience and you deserve to be supported, holistically.
